Free Any Data Recovery is a totally free data recovery software program that can recover data from PC's hard drive and other storage devices. It provides 2 scan modes that are capable of recover all the data lost due to any reasons: deletion, formatting, inaccessible, and more. Following is the user guide of Free Any Data Recovery.

Download, install and run Free Any Data Recovery.

Note: Please do not install the software to the partition where the lost data located. To recover data from removable media, please connect the removable device to PC and check whether it can be detected by computer. It is impossible to rescue data by this software without well connecting.

Step 1: Select files types that you want to recover

After running Free Any Data Recovery, select the types of files you are to restore and click on Next to proceed. By default, all the types are selected by default. To save the scanning time, check the types of files you want to recover only.
Step 2: Select a location or hard disk drive to scan lost files

Now choose a location and press Scan to scan lost files. The location can be the Desktop, My Document or one of your hard disk drives.

Step 3: Preview and recover lost files

By default, the Any Data Recovery chooses Quick Scan. After scanning, all the recoverable files are listed by path, types or time. Select the files you would like to recover and click "Recover" to start recovery. Before recovery, you are allowed to preview files to check if they are your need.

Deep scan: If you still can't find the files you want to recover, switch to deep scan by clicking Deep Scan button at the bottom. This scanning will completely find deleted, formatted, inaccessible or lost data and consequently requires more time.

Pause & Continue: During the recovery process, you can check files at the same time. If the files you need have been scanned, you can click "Pause" to recover them first. Then click "Continue" or "Stop" for the next operation.

Resume Recovery: After you stop the scanning, you can save the current scanning results for resume recovery at a later time. It is saved in a file with a .res suffix. Just click the button on the top right of the interface to import the scanning result when you launch Free Any Data Recovery.

Filter: You can filter your lost files in the scanning result by searching the file name.

Step 4: Save your recovered date

Select a path on your computer to save the recovered files, Click "OK" to complete recovery. Remember that do not save the data to the place where your lost data used to locate in case that the recovered data get overwritten.
